Vintage
- by JP 02/03/2004 @ 08:34 AM | Well now here we go! I inherited a vintage 40's 50's era Feathercraft fishing boat on same era Gator trailer.
Today i found a website dedicated to this brand of fine old boat. This boat was purchased by my dad for my mother right after WWII. My mom and dad loved to fish and lord knows this old boat has hauled in its share.
I dont have much info on this old boat even though its been in my family forever. all paperwork has been lost in some way or another and there is no-one left to ask about the boat.
I intend to one day fish this old boat on the beautiful Suwannee river. Ever hear of Steven Foster? :)
Also there will be a new forum category especially dedicated to the resto and info from other "Feathercraft owners to talk about there boats and progress in getting them fixed.
Im excited about this project and welcome all input. Pics will be forthcoming asap raining here for 3 days now. so soon as i get break from rain ill take some. Thanks to all for their support. You know eho you are :) JP
